My favorite Kundalini yoga meditation for some serious prosperity.


In the Kundalini practice, prosperity was not seen as something pretentious, icky, or non-spiritual. It is simply energy that allows us to show up more fully in our purpose, to be of service, and also goes way beyond just financial. Prosperity can be experienced in the form of healing, vitality, relationships, fun, etc.!

I’m going to share my favorite Kundalini meditation to bring the Prosperity HOME.


It’s called the Jupiter Prosperity Business Meditation and you only need to practice this one 1/week to create a prosperous flow of energy to receive all the goods.

We have the power (always) to take command of the patterns playing out in our lives, and it’s especially strong on these auspicious days, like today the day I'm posting this on 2-20-2020, a potent prosperity portal in numerology. All of the numbers add to 8, cosmically known as Infinite Prosperity and magnified by the zeros. This grants a power to zero out obstacles and challenges.


BUT this is an amazing meditation to do whenever it works for you - just once a week. From doing it just one morning today, a major prosperous event happened to me, just hours after the meditation. And besides the prosperity aspect it calls in, it's majorly detoxifying and SO energizing. By far the only meditation that truly replaces my desire for coffee, you'll be buzzing from it in the best way.


The catch? It’s 62-minutes long… but I promise you the hardest part is deciding you CAN do it. You’ll probably spend more time/energy procrastinating the start than you would actually doing the meditation. And you will be so happy you did.


Yogi Bhajan (the master of Kundalini who brought the sacred, potent teachings to the masses) said about this meditation:


"If you do this once a week for 62 minutes at a regular time, that's all you need.  Within you there is a capacity to bring prosperity home and this kriya, called Jupiter Kriya, brings prosperity home.  It is powerful enough to clear out the garbage in your subconscious mind.  Your own electromagnetic psyche shall be tuned in with the Universal electromagnetic field.  This shall give you special energy and competence.  There is hardly any possibility you will have a problem.  There is no chance of failure with this."


Jupiter is the Lord of Knowledge.

  • By the Jupiter lock you will invoke the Jupiter guidance. 

  • By looking at the tip of your nose, you will control your mind to achieve it. 

  • By breathing a full breath inside the pranic energy, you will bring the result home.

  • By the sound current, you will change the neurons of the brain to set a pattern of success.

  • There is a subliminal, computerized permutation and combination in the sound of the mantra to assure prosperity.

Part I:

Posture: Interlock the index fingers, also called the Jupiter fingers, at the middle segment. The left index finger hooks down over the right. The right index finger hooks horizontally with the left. Bring the mudra to the heart center – with the arms parallel to the ground. If you hold the hands too low, it will cause a depression. Keep the spine straight.


(Variation: you may also hold the mudra at the level of the third eye.)


Yogi Bhajan: “If you hold the posture at the heart center, you will be an achiever. If you hold it at the third eye, you will have the strongest projection you can have.”


Eyes: Fix your eyes at the tip of the nose. Make your face totally relaxed and calm.


Breath: Take the lips and make them round, as if you were drinking water. Then breathe deeply through the mouth. Exhale at the tip of the nose.  Breathe in like you are breathing in prosperity, like you are drinking water. Drink the prana through the mouth and exhale through the nose.


Mantra: Listen deeply to the mantra while you keep the breathe going. This sound of the breath and the mantra guarantees prosperity.

If you are doing this meditation for 31 minutes, continue Part I for 24 minutes.

If you are doing this meditation for 62 minutes, continue Part I for 55 minutes.


After approximately 11 minutes, the patterns in your head will start to change. Your body will start to relax and with those tensions gone, you will start finding new horizons. About 15 minutes into the meditation, you shall enter the zone of body repulses. That means certain things which have been blocking you will start to tremble. After approximately 22 minutes, you will start to face your mental blocks, which need your perfect attention. Keep the breath strong and full as the fight starts between you and your mind.


Part II:

Posture: Keeping the Jupiter fingers interlocked – raise the arms and hold the mudra over the head.

Keep the eyes focused at the tip of the nose, with the same breath pattern, listening to the mantra.

Continue for 5 minutes, whether you are doing the meditation for 31 or 62 minutes.

This posture will establish the brain strength. It will strengthen the grey matter. It creates a halo around your forehead which is the sign of good luck.


Part III:

Posture: Keeping the Jupiter fingers interlocked – lower the arms and hold the mudra at the navel center.

Keep the eyes focused at the tip of the nose, with the same breath pattern, listening to the mantra.

Continue for 2 minutes, whether you are doing the meditation for 31 or 62 minutes.


To End:

Shake the hands and your entire body very vigorously for one minute. Every part of your body that you move will be your friend.

The best way to set the timer so you know when a new part is up without losing the Jupiter lock - is through the Insight Timer app, set for 62 minutes and Interval bells for 55 and 60 minutes.

One of the reasons I fell in love with the Kundalini Yoga + Meditation lineage, is that we keep it SIMPLE.


Talk therapy is great for having space held for you, which does bring about a great healing vibration. I feel it is most effective because when you feel supported and heard, this energy translates into other areas and aspects of your life, bringing about more ease, grace, and wellbeing, because this feeling of being supported is essential.


However, talk therapy and rehabs have been proven to not have the best success rates... because they are problem-focused. We identify the problem from the past, talk about how the problem shows up in the present, how the problem makes you feel, and how the problem may keep presenting itself in the future.


Trust me, this method has sparked a lot of desire for change in myself in just one session of bringing things to the surface, but I never wanted to stay there and felt the therapy was keeping me in the problem-space. I had my fair share of "1 session stands" with talk therapy because once something came out, I never understood the rational of continuing to hash it out - I tried that and felt it was only making me feel worse, I wasn't shifting into the positive vibrations of transmuting the problem.


Same with my first yoga teacher training. It was amazing and probably necessary for where I was in my journey to look at and unpack every piece of material in the suitcase that had been locked tight and shoved into storage for years, but then again, I was sick of just looking at it all displayed in front of me. I wanted to seriously get rid of the old belongings (problems, stories, stored energy, not even my own troubles) and put NEW stuff in it that was more aligned with my desires. I wanted the suitcase to be refurbished to be beautiful, clean, and only items that made me feel amazing to be inside.


This is what the Kundalini Yoga lineage was for me.


My teachers have instilled a very different mindset and mentality in dealing with my problems. Instead of getting all cerebral about it trying to unpack deep levels of subconscious and feeling doomed by this incarnation of heaviness and burdensome sensitivity, I saw how simple it could be.


I started to see how I could no longer focus on the problem. But on the space beyond the problem.


My epic teacher taught a profound magic trick. You ready for it?


He asks: "What's the problem?"

Us: "Uhh, when I was a baby... I was abandoned.... and now it's stuck in maybe the 3rd or 2nd chakra..."

Harijiwan: "No, no, what's the problem? Just see it in front of you."

Us: "Yeah, sure okay I. see it."

Harijiwan: "Poof, it's gone!"


It really can be this easy. Let's stop over-complicating. We meditate to clear out the subconscious mind. It's like a shower for the inner-workings of the mind that receive so much through the day and yes, from childhood and society and technology. We do the energetic practice that works on the entire 10-body system to clear and cleanse to be renewed. To "unpack the suitcase" quickly and regularly, so we can intentionally choose clearly and intuitively what we fill this suitcase with, without the problems making everything harder than they need to be.


You would feel a little icky if you stopped brushing your teeth, right?


It's the same thing with the mind. It's just a part of the day. We keep it clean, daily, and the rest of our life can flow, we can access our super-human, but actually, our natural powers, and get to experience and feel better.

I am ready to re-align.

I am a channel for the Infinite Love of the Universe to flow through me.

I am so blessed & grateful to be in this human incarnation where I get to co-create with this infinite source of light energy.

I forgive the misaligned, self-defeating thoughts and I thank my ego for keeping me safe....

Now, I choose again. Now, I choose a higher thought.

I allow my guides, my inner wisdom, and my truth to deliver positivity, better-feeling thoughts and emotions.

I allow the creative force to flow through me.

I connect, once again, to my higher power.


These are the mantras that helped pull me out of a low-vibe, depleted funk, almost immediately.


I was consciously aware that my energy was extremely low yesterday, I could barely pull myself out of bed and there was no way I could muster up to do what my conscious mind wanted to do, which was create and share about my services of uplifting people, when I wasn't feeling uplifted myself. I was resisting this tiredness and trying to just be gentle with myself, but a self-destructive story was playing out, subconsciously. I was out of alignment with my higher self and the universe.


This continued... being dominated by the low-vibe subconscious patterns were manifesting as physical exhaustion which kept my attention on the outer world, instead of the inner. The separation between my human self and my higher truth was real: I was frustrated, down, and feeling defeated.


Then, I was able to let go of resistance. I felt "off the hook" after a few hours of work, getting into the intention (and as a result, started shifting to become a match of a new vibration) of feeling better. Note: the action I took in those "working hours" were a step in allowing me to get there while appeasing the subconscious mind... we don't need to jump from defeat to joy in an instant, but we can move up the emotional frequency scale, say from defeat to frustration, frustration to neutrality, moving up eventually to optimism, excitement, and so on.. Essentially by releasing the pressure I was putting on myself, this allowed me to open the channels to receive better thought forms, then emotions. Mostly unconsciously, I was guided back to one of my favorite teachers, Gabby Bernstein, in this time of new intention of feeling good.


I slowed down for a walk on the beach during sunset, feeling totally exhausted but knowing the sand and salt on my feet always brings me healing. Feeling so unwell, not knowing what's wrong with me, going down the rabbit hole of feeling frustrated that I lost momentum, that I'm not cut out for this, that I'll never amount to the greatness I have felt before, 'what am I even doing' thoughts...


I literally plopped down to the wet sand, not caring that my clothes are getting soaked. Complete surrender. Getting driven to this point can be SO LIBERATING.


From here, I came back to my faith in my connection to the universe. Coming to my awareness more visibly now, I saw these low vibes and depleted energy were simply: a forgetting of my innate essence of the creative, powerful, infinite energy that runs through all of us. This blissful, ecstatic, pure love energy that we all are unique, beautiful expressions of.


I forgave the previous thoughts. I turned to prayer. I stated out loud: I am ready to realign. I am ready to remember this connection and feel it. I am ready for the better thoughts and emotions. Simple and profound.


I felt better immediately. This surrender and prayer lifted my spirits (and physical weight) in a moment. I had a few moments of near tears, got up, and carried on.


I continued actually noticing the self-defeating thoughts that were playing out, it wasn't all just the physical manifestation of extremely low energy that I was feeling, that I was really hung up on. This is a story of mine that began through childhood, that I'm weak (immune system, nervous system, etc.) and physically not up to par to handle it and be great, but it's the same story that keeps me small in my creations, in sharing, and helping to heal the planet.


PISH POSH. This story is whack, of course, I know this but sometimes these non-realities made up by our fear-based ego (oh, so sneakily and convincingly) can feel so dominant, especially as it manifests into the material world to appear true.


Truth Bomb: We aren't always going to be flowing in joy and peace. We won't always feel energized by inspiration and desire to spread love and light. Sometimes, our eyes are going to be more open to the challenges than creative solutions that flow to us.


These moments are assignments.


These moments are the opportunities to remember your higher power and re-align to something much larger than yourself. To, once again, feel this connection to the infinite love that wants to flow through you, deeper this time than ever before. To deepen your faith: your trust that you are always supported, you and all of your experiences are purposeful, and impactful in this world.


I knew I had to re-align quick, and I knew this experience was so that I could put it to the test in myself first to be able to share with others. To pull myself out of a low-vibe rut quickly to first believe it's possible through personal experience and be the expander for others that it really can be quick and simple by deciding you are going to feel better.


So here's my simple summary on how to re-align:

1. Notice -> Awareness that this non-reality has taken over the show, and you are in the driver's seat to change the story.


2. Remember -> You are a vessel for the infinite love to flow through and you always have access to your higher power.


3. Surrender -> With this remembrance of what is possible in mind, let go of resistance, take the pressure OFF. Release expectations.


4. Make the Call -> ASK the universe for help, guidance, and to deliver better-feeling thoughts + vibrations + emotions. Call it a prayer if you want or just consider it as an experiment (cause let's be honest, you have nothing to lose from this place of low vibes anyhow). State out loud, write down, or mentally recite the mantras of truth to your higher self (see above or let your own come to you by the guided question "What would my highest self be feeling?").


5. Allow -> Relax and take the pressure off. Allow the universe to show up for you. Make this a practice of deepening your faith, a returning and remembering your higher powers. Trust that you are supported and everything is now happening for you.
